Program Description With a combined BA/BMgt or a BSc/BMgt degree, you can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, if you are interested in managing an art gallery, you can major in art and general management. If sports marketing ignites your passion, you can major in kinesiology and marketing. The Combined BA/BMgt or BSc/BMgt degree program takes five years (50 courses) to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees. Bachelor of Management - Political Science Political science is the systematic study of government, politics, and political behaviour, both empirically and normatively. Empirically, it looks at how political conflict is organized and resolved, how rulers are chosen, how governmental decisions are taken, and what policies and laws are determined and implemented, in settings ranging from Canada as a whole to our provincial and local governments to other countries to the relations amongst countries. Normatively, it considers how political actors understand their obligations towards one another, and the degree to which decisions are made out of a sense of right or out of expediency. As a political science major, you will study the principles, organizations, and administration of government. The major includes both management and political science courses. The political science major offers flexibility to choose courses that fit your personal and career interests. In addition to the required courses, the political science majors can choose six political science and three management electives. Bachelor of Arts - Dramatic Arts Dramatic Arts provides you with a vibrant and varied experience in the world of theatre, combining the excitement of live productions with studies in literature, acting, directing, design and technical production. As a drama student, you’ll study theory and criticism, performance and production. Participate in a series of major theatre productions annually, ensuring you get ample real-life theatre experience. Delve into theatre history and literature, study renowned playwrights and their works within the context of time, place and social circumstance. With both theoretical and practical opportunities, you will learn to be imaginative, flexible, adaptable and creative, grooming you for entrance into the entertainment industry, graduate studies and numerous other professions.
